I've tried a lot of chocolate chip recipes with mixed results but I love this one from Sally's Baking Addiction: giant-chocolate-chip-cookies

She makes 6 humongous sized cookies, but I use my scoop and make regular sized ones. It's a nice recipe for us because it just makes about 14 cookies so they don't sit around very long.

I used that recipe yesterday. My scoop makes the normal amount of cookies. I did use two full cubes of butter though. I love butter!

I took some pictures of my older chickens and my 14 weeks old chicks.

I got one picture that I liked.

You used more butter than was in the recipe?

Yes! The original toll house recipe calls for cup of butter and 3\4 cups each of brown and white sugar.

I did add one egg and one egg yolk and the corn starch as changes to the original recipe.

To me, the original toll house recipe is nearly perfect. I wanted to see what the difference would be with the corn starch and adding one egg and a yolk would be.

I have not baked any yet so I do not know!
