Well I can’t claim nearly that many cookbooks but my shelves look just like that! :highfive: Books on top of books. Books in front of books. Books under other books. One time we donated 23 grocery bags of books to a school that was just getting a library started. My neighbor Mary said “I’m coming up to see all the empty shelves!” DH and I were laughing because the place looked exactly the same, but the look of shock on her face was priceless!
Yes..you haven’t seen the rest of this mess..and you won’t! Books lying around, books on tables, books on chairs, under beds, on top of beds..etc etc..I did just buy new bookcases though..from Amazon, the IRONCK, surprisingly high quality, great price, all metal machine screws into metal, even the shelves have little metal sleeves so you can take it apart and reassemble without stripping wood..I’m trying to reorganize my living room..then maybe I can get to the kitchen and rest of house..

When I am running low on any supply....I get more.
NEVER substitute. My pantry is always furnished well. Today for lunch: I had fresh tomatoes in my planter ..heated a small cast iron fry pan...added little grapeseed oil...little butter. Sliced my tomatoes placed them on bottom of pan...seasoned..little salt, pepper and paprika..cooked one side..turned and cooked other side. A layer of grated of cheddar cheese..
then placed on egg in middle. Cooked. Toasted a slice of my bread and enjoyed. Simple Delicious.
Now English Tea and one of my peanut cookies.

Your lunch sounds delicious.

I wanted to share this terrific pro chef in case y’all haven’t seen him..amazing recipes. I made his chicken pot pie..very best I’ve ever had..tons of recipes, here are apple turnovers..Bruno Albouze..

Do you have a link to his website?

I have silicone cups that go in the muffin tin.

Is it okay to use them instead of greasing up the muffin tin?

Haha! Our house is at least two sizes too small, especially for people who have “interest in many things!”

Baking and molecular biology... do you secretly live in my house?

Just kidding, but I'm fascinated by both!
Yeah, I didn’t show the Japanese sword and metallurgy section, gardening, more brewing books, the aikido section, the bonsai section..etc..or all the music books and paperback stuff like Harry Dresden, Pawn of Prophecy series, all the entertainment books..when you get older, your detritus begins to pile up!
