I'm so glad you like it!!! We made it for a crowd once and it was a big hit

I made the peach clafoutis tonight! (I can't remember who sent the recipe) I didn't use a big enough pan, so I had to use a loaf pan and make 2.

I need to make machine bread for DH today. He has toast on the weekend for breakfast, and I haven't gotten around to it yet.

As soon as the tomatoes are out of the canner, I'll get on that. So much to do today. No nap for me!

I canned tomatoes yesterday.

I'm doing it as they ripen. So far, it's been two batches of four quarts. When it gets serious, I'll get my 7 qt canner out. When I run out, I'll have to buy some, probably a bushel this year. I'm making progress at growing my own; last year it was two bushels.

Yesterday was batch #3 of 4 qts. Next group will most likely be turned into juice. 50°F with wind, feels like 40°F. The cooler temps will make the tomatoes ripen faster.

Today I intend to can pickles.

Sally, I like to mix my bread first thing ...Then you can let it rise and do other things. I just mixed 3 loaves Sourdough Honey Oat Bread. Now I am able to do other things while the mix rises. It works for me. Aria

Yeah, me too. I had to wait until the tomatoes were out of the way. Canning takes up a lot of counter space, and I don't try to do anything else when I'm canning. Boiling water, glass jars...

Someday, I will be making bread by hand again. Still just machine baking now. Not to disparage my bread machine... it makes a fine loaf.

Our first house was too small. AND the Mortgage was too high. We sold it...and built our own house.
AND I designed it....LARGE...MOST COMFORTABLE.
and NO Mortgage. Never been sorry....Aria
