this Oregon Trail Sourdough Starter originated right here in Missouri somewhere back around 1847. So it should be real happy here!
What are you going to do when it gets POed because it emigrated to Oregon on purpose and you dragged it back to Missouri (a state my step-father was a good place to be FROM) ;)

Just have some freshly baked sesame Bagels now, slowly rised in the fridge overnight, really tasty.
They look more than perfect if that is possible!

Sorry, but I usually didn't follow a fixed recipe, always some modifications.

Here is a simplified steps I used to note when I try a new recipe, maybe a bit rough.

**505 is the flour for making bread here in Germany, as long as the protein is 12-14%, it's ok to use.
