When we moved to AZ, we were told that jackrabbits were not good for eating, to not even bother hunting them. But we found that wasn't true. We thought they were tasty.

I can atest that rabbit is great for dog food!

Jackrabbits are edible but you don't want to try it the way I had it. Jackrabbit was run at high speed for over a mile before being shot, dressed and put on a stick over an open fire. It was practically too tough to chew and full of adrenaline.
Cottontails and snowshoe hares are too good to waste on dogs.I can atest that rabbit is great for dog food!

I had a fresh dog food company for 16 years opened the door to many others when I sold it.

In addition to the black/blue/strawberry pie I made.. I made mini pumpkin pies as well! Pie party at my house.. y'all invited.Virtual party at @Bonkerelli 's place later.
That's the nice thing about "virtual" travel: It doesn't take any time, no matter how far you go. And, for the host/hostess, the guests don't actually eat up all your food!
