Raspberry syrup. Internet said it was a substitute. It’s not the same.

Not the same ... what an understatement!!!!! I guess the internet ISN'T always right!
Grenadine is pomegranate. They are not at all similar to raspberry. Glad you got the right stuff.

Good morning bakers! No baking here today, it’s going to be way too hot. The sourdough loaf I baked the other day turned out quite sour! I had forgotten to do the stretch and folds for several hours then after I shaped it I forgot it in the fridge overnight. I liked the flavor but I think it overproofed and I just couldn’t get a good surface tension on it so it didn’t have much oven spring.

It was funny how my timing was off during every step! I’m glad it didn’t happen to a loaf I really needed to look good. It’s still edible bread, nice and tangy!
