Any Home Bakers Here?

On a different note, I was out hunting, and I came across a prickly pear cactus in Lincoln County, Idaho. A cold hardy prickly pear cactus. It had a bunch of dried fruit on it, so I took a piece of fruit off, and decided to bring it home.

No, I’m not planning on baking anything with prickly pear fruit.

I brought it home to see if it had seeds in it that I could propagate.

Sure enough, it did.

I wonder if I can successfully propagate it in spring…..

Late to the discussion, but I have the large Kitchen Aide mixer that lifts the bowl up to the beater, the head is fixed. It is about 16 1/2" tall. I really like it - it is more powerful that the 5 quart one that I had. Which I gave to my sister who really loves it. The older one is over 20 years and still working great - they make bread a lot with it.

I think anyone getting a new (or refurbished) mixer needs to know that you pay for the color. A lot! A chrome was about a hundred dollars more than the silver. I chose silver!
White is good enough for me.
