Would you be willing to post your recipe for making glassed eggs?

Welcome to Home Bakers thread.
Just saw this. Sorry I’m late. We use roughly 1oz by weight of Hydrated Lime (type S), to 1 quart of water. Seems to have worked OK so far. Yolks are generally in tact, maybe a little less robust and prone to breaking than fresh, but the eggs themselves when cracked smell fresh.

The bucket smells…I can’t quite describe it. But the eggs smell and taste fresh. 🤷🏻‍♂️ We started in August 2022 and stopped adding in maybe December?

I used pickling lime, 1 tablespoon to 1 quart water.

After a while, all the yolks broke when we cracked the eggs. Hubby was not a fan pretty much right off the bat, as he likes eggs over easy.

I wondered if I used too much lime. It did not all go into solution, and it settled on the eggs.

Good Morning, everyone.

Going to the doctor. I have a big issue with a lymph node in my armpit. I think I had an allergic reaction to some body spray.

It’s bigger than this, for reference.

Anyway, a friend of mine is getting ready to have her baby. I may make her family dinner sometime.
Ooh, sorry to hear, Jared. Hope it resolves quickly. I try to avoid chemicals as much as possible, I'm quite sensitive to them. Skin rashes, sinus issues, sore throat, headaches. Hope you feel better soon! I'm sure your friend would LOVE to have you bring dinner over some evening so she doesn't have to cook! That's very thoughtful of you! You're such a nice guy! ❤️
