From past experience as a 4-times mom , I would advise food which is neither gas inducing ( beans, any kind of cabbage, leeks ) or contains acids ( lemons, tomatoes) cos if the mother is breastfeeding, the newborn also gets a dose, and get a tummy ache or the poor rear gets red and irritated
Interesting thought. I have no experience with this either, so I'm interested in hearing what others have to say.Pardon my ignorance, but wouldnt the newborn enjoy a “variety of tastes in meals from the mother?“
What I mean is, if a mother is breastfeeding, and she has a variety of foods, with many different tastes, I bet you that what she feeds the baby will taste like a variety of foods each day also.
