Any Home Bakers Here?

Jared, I googled "postpartum meals" and found LOTS of sites offering multitudes of recipes for the new mom, many of which can be made in advance and frozen. Have fun picking out and making a few, I'm sure your friend will greatly appreciate your efforts! Where were you when I was pregnant?!?. Oh I know, not born yet, by a long shot, lol!

From past experience as a 4-times mom , I would advise food which is neither gas inducing ( beans, any kind of cabbage, leeks ) or contains acids ( lemons, tomatoes) cos if the mother is breastfeeding, the newborn also gets a dose, and get a tummy ache or the poor rear gets red and irritated

Pardon my ignorance, but wouldnt the newborn enjoy a “variety of tastes in meals from the mother?“

What I mean is, if a mother is breastfeeding, and she has a variety of foods, with many different tastes, I bet you that what she feeds the baby will taste like a variety of foods each day also.

I could be wrong. Like I said, I have no experience.

I will continue to research.

Interesting thought. I have no experience with this either, so I'm interested in hearing what others have to say.
