Any Home Bakers Here?

Guys, I know this is off-topic, but I need to see it.

I suffered a minor injury while target shooting. Let’s just say that it could’ve been a lot worse, because of how I was injured.

While patterning my black powder shotgun for an upcoming turkey hunt, some of the pellets ricocheted off the target, and hit me in the chest.

The good news is it didn’t penetrate my shirt or my skin.

The bad news is I am feeling a high degree of panic, for obvious reasons.

If it was worse, I would’ve had to go to the ER.

Thankfully, me, my brother, and my sister looked over my entire body. No blood, so nothing got in.

Prayers for me will be appreciated.

Jared
Ooh, Jared that is scary! I'm glad you weren't hurt. Also that you weren't alone! Must have been very reassuring to have had family there to check you out. Got you covered with prayers of gratitude and also prayers to keep you settled and calm. I know those are the kinds of prayers I would need if I'd been in your shoes!

I may have to post in here. My mom was a confectionist and seamstress when I was a kid making candy but her business was giant wedding cakes and beautiful christening gowns for babies. I have been baking a while mostly cakes and brownie type stuff but my favorite to make are bread and rice pudding. I'll usually bake my bread pudding with different fruits like apples, cherries, Satsumas etc. Oh and I gotta admit my pecan pies rock. My daughter loves it when I make what my mom called cocoons but later I learned it was the same recipe for Italian wedding cookies just a different shape. I guess my Italian heritage it wasn't difficult to do.
