They are great recipe loved making them.
I have started browning them in oil then baking them at 350, 10 minutes till done.

May try the bake only next time. Grandma taught me how to make sugar donuts
using eggs. I do like the sourdough ones also.

I received my donut pans and purple whole wheat donut mix today. I once again find myself hating silicone bakeware. Alas, I have them, and will deal with it.

The donuts are okay tasting. They would almost certainly have fared better in metal pans.

Really curious as to why the difference? I have found myself thinking about getting some silicone bake ware items. I don't have any, so I'm going to hold off to hear what you hate about them.
