It takes a full hour to preheat the oven, so no more baking in the next week or so unless I use a neighbor’s kitchen.

Really liking the naan I've learned to make. Is a mid-Eastern yeast-raised flatbread, chewy, soft and pillowy. It calls for butter or, better, ghee, in the recipe, but you can make your own. I scorched mine a bit so I bought some today and will be making another batch tomorrow. The recipe makes six naan, 6" across. Delicious with PB&J, PB & bananas, or as a scoop for lentils or (I bet!) shakshuka! Here's a link to the recipe.

Wow, glad you are home, sorry for the trouble caused by others. I would think that, as a minimum, the "breakers" could carry the cast iron for you.

Yes. I really need to find the model so I can get it ordered. If I hadn’t replaced an element in another oven, I would not have known it was possible. $30 is much better than $700+ !!
