Any Home Bakers Here?

Hi guys! I've been off thread for a while, didja miss me? 😉 Been fiddling with baking as I've been trying to re-learn how to bake and cook within the parameters of my grand-daughter's dietary limitations. She has non-celiac gluten sensitivity and alpha-GAL mammal product allergy. So no meat or dairy from basically any four-legged critters. Fish and poultry are fine. I'm still baking some wheat products for her brother, DH and myself, with plans to adapt to GF, but ... she cheats as she can't resist the goodness. Benadryl helps. So anyway, here's todays baking. It is not GF.

This was my first attempt at pretzels. I don't use mustard but they were quite tasty dipped in a non-dairy cashew "cheese" dip I'd made a few days ago. In all honesty, it doesn't taste all that cheesy, but it is good and went well with the pretzels and was easy to make.
They look great!

It’s 69°, and we are expecting more rain. Most people still don’t have power, or water. That includes our local doctors. Another hurricane is gearing up. Woo hoo.
I resurrected my sd today. I have two loaves almost done. I am thinking about who could use the second loaf that doesn’t need a boat to get to.
