Any Home Bakers Here?

I mixed up a batch of grownies yesterday and let the mix sit in the fridge over night. I'm trying that as a way to make the oats more tender and less "raw" tasting. We'll see how it goes.
I have to bake with oat flour to get my (autistic) housemate to eat oats as anything but oatmeal.
Let us know how it works. If I can get her to eat baked oatmeal, it will be easier.

When I mixed up the grownies this morning (I hadn't put everything in, like the bananas and eggs), I tasted a bit, and the oats were definitely softer. The pan is in the oven right now, and I expect these will turn out fine.

Warm grownies for lunch! They are awesome, and I only get them when I make a batch. I don't have a microwave, so I don't reheat them.

Sugar free blueberry pie! My first time attempting a lattice crust. :)

Making quince fruit leather, takes time, I am saving the seeds, when you have a sore throat you can soak a few and it makes a kind of gel which soothes it or suck on a few seeds, which is also good for a sore throat

This year frost killed almost all the fruit harvest in our region, but Bavaria still had good quinces, and they are gigantic

Having meatloaf tonight accompanied by the wild duck I took hunting yesterday. I decided to save the giblets for Thanksgivings giblet gravy.

Not many recipes I can share right now, the meatloaf recipe was on the back of a McCormick packet.

The duck was brined for 12 hours with 6 quarts water and 1.5 cups kosher salt and 1.5 cups brown sugar. Now it is in the crockpot.

I need to figure out what sides I should make to go with the meatloaf and duck.
