Any Home Bakers Here?

I guess we are all on a team!

I guess so!

Maybe we should phrase the contests differently to get more attention and get more people to enter.

Maybe something like this:

“Hello, and welcome to WHO DOESNT WANT TO BE A MORON! The quiz game show where you walk away with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I’m your host, Jared!

Our quiz question of the day is as follows:

Which of the following is NOT a Donkey Kong game?

Donkey Kong country
Donkey Kong 64
Donkey Kong goes bananas
Donkey Kong land

1st to post the answer correctly wins!”

I used to do this on another forum a long time ago. It’s a longshot, but it could work for BYC contests.

Just an idea.

Yeah! That would be neat to see how many people we get😂

This morning I made my poooor pooooor dog some more sourdough treats. I fed my starter, and actually left her out a while. It’s always fun seeing the bubbles up and down the sides.
Supper was biscuits and … blueberry stuff. Fresh blueberries, water and a pinch of sugar.

I am sendig @GracePoultry to you, @ronott1. Apparently she's having some difficulty with her sourdough starter. I told her you are the Sourdough Wizard and will help her. ❤️
I will help!
Thank you both! The last time I made starter I was able to get it going pretty well but after I made it into a dough (and then placed in a metal bowl and it started eating away at it) I had trouble getting another starter going out of the leftovers from the jar. Any reason this might be?

I use stainless steal bowls to make sourdough so the starter eating the metal sounds odd.

If you send me a pm with your address I can send you a start from my starter.

Get yourself a good proofing jar like one here. I have the tulip jar

There are a lot of ways to store starter. I store mine in the fridge and make a batch 90G fresh active start in the morning before making overnight bread.
