I am not familiar with boule bread, but I bake often, especially bread. Family of 7 and all bread lovers. Our favorite is Japanese milk bread.
Hmm,I think the answer would very widely in the type of funeral and who is throwing it. If its a more traditional solemn thing then maybe something like cheese stuffed buns, the kind where you bake a bunch of soft buns with either straight cheese or a cheesy mix in the center. Or possibly mini calzones or something like that, small and fairly simple to eat.
On the other hand if its more like the ones my dad throws its more like a family reunion/pool party and they like to have things like a super crockpot of lil' smokeys in BBQ and a whole roast piglol in that case I might make mini pizzas, or a large Stockport of garlic motz mashed potatoes.
Something safe for both and simple would be honey glazed hawian rolls.
Might ask the family ?
"Finger foods" usually go over well. It’s a very big family, so I’ll probably have to ask them what I can bring. That might be best.
I agree. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that.
