Any Home Bakers Here?

Too many zucchini in the garden and they're getting too big. Best for bread. Found a recipe for cheesy zucchini bread.

Recipe asked me to squeeze the shredded zucchini in a towel. I hate doing that. Added the salt the recipe called for to the zucchini in my salad spinner, waited five minutes and spun the water out. Much cleaner/easier. :)

Once the bread was done I popped five ramekins of crème brûlée in the oven.

Oh, what a GREAT idea! Thank you for posting this! I will do that next time I make zucchini bread (soon!). The "squeeze out in a towel" method is a mess.

What a healthy, delicious, looking loaf. GREAT.
We have small bakeries in my area. NONE make sourdough. One of the grocery stores sells a sourdough-style loaf (basically just made with commercial yeast with a sourdough taste). My local food community is trash and it makes me angry. :) Husband and I never go out to dinner. I can't put down good money for the crap they peddle here. Last time I went out for a shrimp dinner at an Italian place it was overcooked and rubbery. Every time I go to one of the annual firefighter chicken BBQs the chicken is unseasoned and burned and the sides aren't homemade (salads from cafeteria pails). It's so sad. :(
