I was looking through the Armenian cook book I got from the exchange student, and one recipe calls for lamb brain. No joke.
Are brains edible? I never heard of them in a dish.
Don't know but it's not a House Sparrow or a Starling which means it is one of the protected species. Which means that it is illegal to have no matter how good your intentions are.@R2elk what kind of bird is this?

The legal recourse is to turn it in to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.Well, I thought it was a sparrow. Illegal or not, it has no nest, and was not anywhere near a tree or bush. I cannot get a straight answer about the surroundings beyond that.
