Any Home Bakers Here?

Hi, I'm pretty new to BYC, but I love baking and cooking, my newest project is learning how to bake sourdough, any tips?

@ronott1 is our sourdough expert. I can try to help though if you need it.

A good tip that comes to my mind is to have a strong sourdough starter, and feed it in a couple hours before using it to bake sourdough bread. You want to use it when it’s very active.

I need to say something important.

I had a life-threatening condition last week called serotonin syndrome. It is unknown what caused it so far, but as a precaution my doctor instructed me to go off all of my SSRI antidepressants. As a result, I am extremely depressed and angry due to withdrawal symptoms.

Please keep me in your thoughts. I am really struggling right now.

Thinking of you right now, Jared. Can you go back to the SSRIs at some point in the future? Are there other antidepressants you can take?
