Don't you love it when you try something new, and it works out really well?
:thumbsup

Speaking of trying something new, I found this at the store.

I figured it was worth a shot, so I had a little fun.

Now I’m faced with a very big problem. Do I eat then over here, or do I eat them over there? Of course, I like green eggs and ham. I do like them, Sam I am!

I need to say something important.

I had a life-threatening condition last week called serotonin syndrome. It is unknown what caused it so far, but as a precaution my doctor instructed me to go off all of my SSRI antidepressants. As a result, I am extremely depressed and angry due to withdrawal symptoms.

Please keep me in your thoughts. I am really struggling right now.
Praying for you! 💔💗

Hi, I'm pretty new to BYC, but I love baking and cooking, my newest project is learning how to bake sourdough, any tips?
Check the index linked to in the first post of this thread. There are a lot of sourdough tips there.

@ronott1 is our sourdough expert. I can try to help though if you need it.

A good tip that comes to my mind is to have a strong sourdough starter, and feed it in a couple hours before using it to bake sourdough bread. You want to use it when it’s very active.

@ronott1 might correct me on this.
The trick is to follow the recipe. Some recipes actually want unfed or not active starter to be used.

Mostly though the starter should be fed and active.

Thank you. I forgot that sometimes a recipe calls for unfed starter. Sourdough crumpets is a good example of this.
