Any Home Bakers Here?

I am out of the hospital. It turns out it’s more than likely not serotonin syndrome. On the contrary, I have a nodule on my thyroid. It’s very difficult to explain, but from what I understand my thyroid is in overdrive. That would explain a lot of things.
Hope it is easily treated and you will be completely healed.

Here’s a more detailed explanation of what happened.

My heart rate at 4:45 AM was 134. My tremors were uncontrollable. Pupils dilated. Called my med management doctor, because I had a ketamine (legal in Idaho under a doctors care) treatment the day before. I’ve had this treatment for a couple years, but I’ve never had this happen afterwards. She instructed me to go to the ER.

She said “have them look at your heart. Tell them that we suspect serotonin syndrome.”

I got to the ER, and they did a CAT scan and an x-ray on my chest. That’s how they figured out about the thyroid. My pulse was still pretty high while I was there. After some IV treatment and some medication, we were able to get it down to 110.

The doctor then said afterward, “You do have a lump on your thyroid. We don’t think this is serotonin syndrome, but we cannot rule out that possibility either.“

With all the chaos going on, I completely forgot.
