I found the fudge. I avoided it all yesterday.

16 sweet rolls in the oven for a neighbor’s early Thanksgiving (she was going to serve store bought ), and 16 dough balls in the freezer as a start for another get-together. Has anyone else already gotten a start on holiday baking?

Just the grocery shopping bit. None of the baking bit.

My freezer died after I had just finished thawing it out now I have to wait at least a week for the new one to be delivered

We are having just turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and lemon-lime meringue pie. I could skip it all. Hubby is cooking this year. Last year was the last time I'm going to put myself through doing an entire bird.

He said he's willing to do it, and wants to do it the day before. What a brilliant idea! Last year, the football game was stressful, he was snappish, I was overwhelmed. No more.
