Need to appropriately vent:

My father was taking my grandfather (the one with dementia) to an appointment. We learned my Grandpas dementia was at a whole new level.

He didn’t know what yogurt was.

This makes me sad.
He will have good days and bad, cherish the good days, and endure the bad ones 🙏🏻

Somehow the pictures got mixed up, made panna cotta with raspberry sauce, I really regretted making the raspberry sauce, it takes ages to sieve out all those pesky little seeds 🙄

I made black raspberry jamly last summer. (Jam/jelly) I removed about half of the seeds with a food mill. It still has a ridiculous amount of seeds. :rolleyes:Next year, I'm going to juice the berries and make jelly. Hubby doesn't like jamly. I'm using it up on my yogurt.

I just lost my car. Catastrophic failure. I’m OK, I’m not hurt, there was no accident. The car is gone, though.

That plus pre-holiday stress as well as a lot of other things going on is really bringing me down.
You're OK, not hurt. That's good news.

I've had engines die, transmissions lock up, a transaxle fall off. Cars do that. It's never fun.

One time our engine caught on fire, burned up all the hoses and wiring, car was totalled. With the insurance check my spouse was able to put a downpayment on his first pickup truck, so it wasn't all bad.

:hugs

Aw Jared, I'm sorry. What a crappy thing to happen. But you are ok, and stuff can be replaced.

When we totaled our car last summer (hit a deer at highway speed), I was really pissed. We had planned to put a new porch on the house. Instead we had to replace our car. The insurance check was ... not much.

The next morning after the accident, neither of us were even sore. Ok, so the porch has to wait. Big deal. We were ok, and that was the important thing.

You're ok, and that's the important thing.
:hugs :hugs :hugs :hugs
