Any home brewers?

Yesterday I finished bottling 2 cases of 24 oz bottles.
4 more days until I get to taste!

still it tasted pretty good while I was bottling!

I've been "sampling" my Northwestern Pale ale since bottling. It's not bad but not quite the flavour I was looking for.
I think it's a little hoppie,(is that a word?) with a slightly bitter taste.

I think next time I'll steep some toasted barley to round out the flavors, or try a milder hops.

Mead maker over hear. My poor joy of homebrewing book is all beat to heck. Hubby brewed beer for a while, but I slowly took over the gear. I have a batch of orange spice mead I bottled last month that is developing well. It wont be ready until next summer. I did have some of my wine snob friends taste it. They liked it but could tell it needed to develop more.

I also have my first batch of pyment going strong. I used grapes from my own vines.

I love mead making because it combines the simplicity of beer brewing with the fun of having a wine. Regular wine making instructions can get so complicated! LOL

Mead mostly, but I'll do up some beer or wine if there's something I know a friend really likes.

Printer's color cartrage wasn't working so I had to sharpie part of the label...

I want to get some brewers yeast for the dogs when the fleas come back. In this little area I haven't found any yet. I think I'll have to just order online.
