If you plan to garden test your soil. If it has a well check the water. What are your families main goals door the property? This will determine which property attributes should be the priority.

I would definitely look at water sources including if there is a well. Natural creek/branch gives you access to wildlife using it as a water source for hunting. Having a decent stand of timbers helps if you want to mill your own lumber or cut firewood.
