Correct!Looks like they have Marans not BPR's so I say the second is a pure Marans.
Neither are Barred Rock or Light Sussex. Looks like you have a Delaware and a Marans.

So, these two came from our neighbour's chickens (we incubated the eggs) and the cockerels they have are a light sussex and a barred plymouth rock. No idea what hens they were from as they have a whole load of different breeds.
I know one of them is clearly mixed, but I was wondering whether they have names?
Looks like a Delaware and A Holland ( Now that particular barred coloring is hard to distinguish it could be a number of breeds like - Barred (Plymouth) rock, Dominique, Maran etc....but the hens in the picture look like Hollands)So, these two came from our neighbour's chickens (we incubated the eggs) and the cockerels they have are a light sussex and a barred plymouth rock. Most of the barred chickens in this picture, including the rooster, aren’t purebred. You can tell from the silver leakage in their barring. That means your cockerels are mixes of mixes, probably with mostly sussex and barred rock in them.We don't, but the people we got the eggs from to incubate have all of these...
Ok then the one is probably still a Delaware and the other could be a Dominique was one a dark brown or we're they close to the same shade. The eggs these two hatched from were brown, but not jumbo in size. Not sure if that helps.
Thanks all for your feedback. We had no idea what they might be so it's been interesting!
I just thought Dominique because the hens are more light gray/ silver then barred rocks or marans but they could be a mix if the egg was a dark brown it's probably a maran if not maybe a barred rock or a mixDoms have rose combs.
This one has a single comb.
If they are not pure, that explains the Sussex looking like a Delaware, and the Barred Rock having white feet.
I did wonder why the 'Delaware' had white feet.
