Any idea on the genders?

I purchased three gray silkies from a local farmer and although silkies are hard to sex he was confident that all of mine are pullets. Their horizontal posture being the reason. I’ve had them since they were a few weeks old. They’re now four months. Any idea as to what gender they each are. I’m confident one is in fact a pullet but the other two have less of a poof on their heads. They’ve been that way since I brought them home. Thanks for your opinions/help

Unsure, but their color may change somewhat with their first molt.

I think she looks like a female but whenever I throw them treats she makes the clucking noise that cockerels usually do when they find food. So I started to get worried perhaps it’s a male. Unless females also make those noise sometimes. Can anyone tell for certain?

All looks to be pullets and they actually appear to be poorly marked splash. Gray in silkies is actually silver partridge and you’ll see a gradient of color going from the head down to the body and usually some penciling on the wings.

This lovely Silkie is a splash and does appear to be female. Though it is to early to be 100% certain.
In some lines of well bred Silkies males don’t present themselves until 4 to 5 months of age and look very female until then.

Thank you. The man I bought them from ordered a pair from a hatchery and hatches his own eggs. My three came from his pair of gray silkies. Perhaps he received the wrong chicks or was misinformed Idk. It doesn’t matter to me either way. I’m just curious
