We got them from a local feed and supply store. We asked them the breed, they just said that they had ordered a 'Old English Bantam Mix' but they didn't give me the details from where they ordered.

We just got two new chicks, they are from a Old English Bantam Assorment. Just wondering if anyone has any idea of what breed they are? We got them about a week ago and the yellow one is about 2 1/2 weeks and i think the black one is only 2 weeks. Im not sure if they are both male, the yellow one seems to have the male tail, but the little one is starting to show a little bit to. Any ideas?

old english game bantam is their breed its their variety that you want to know as oegb come in many different variety's. to really tell that need them to feather out a bit more..

The first one looks very similar to my bearded Belgian d'Anver. This is what he looked like as a chick. The coloring is very close, and the legs and feet are the same slate coloring. (We thought he was going to be a pullet, and named him Miss Babsie.......and then one day "she" crowed.)

lol yes sorry, ahhh I guess I shall just have to wait. I was just thinking maybe someone who raised oegb would know by looking at the chicks

, this one acts either way as well. It seems very laid back when held, very calm but acts a little like a roo when playing with the other one. Thank you for the idea :) I will check them out!

my guess on the middle one is a blue and the other maybe mille fleur pattern or quail but theres no telling till they feather out more though

if it has a single comb then no its not a d'anver i would bet if it looks similar to a quail d'anver then it maybe a quail oegb

I thought quail when I first saw that chick too, and the second one looks like a self blue or a blue duckwing pullet that needs to feather in.
