Any idea what color this chipmunk chick will end up?

Out of the 5 chicks we hatched we got two blacks, two greys and then the yellow brown chick.

It’s Daddy is a black/ grey hatchery silkie.

Mom (I think ) is a Mille Fleur D'uccle . She has more spots now.

Here is baby chick.

My guess would be a plain brown with normal feathers. What do you think?

I’m assuming this is the mom. The other possibilities are a splash silkie or my white silkie but I am thinking it’s my d’uccle because it was a slightly smaller egg and it’s color.

Well if it helps here’s what chipmunk chick looks at 2 weeks.

Not sure what color this little one is going to end up. I know it’s a bit young to tell but so far it’s looking like a pullet so far. I used to have a d’uccle rooster and you could tell it was going to be a he very early. With this gal/guy being half silkie it might slow that down.

Just without spots right? Since it has only one copy of that gene. Here is what it’s momma looked at the same age. She didn’t have such strong chipmunk markings .

The lighter chick is her momma the darker chick is a d’uccle rooster that I had to get rid of because he was so aggressive .

Just wanted to update this old post. Here is my boy at almost 4 months. He’s kinda odd looking but in person he’s pretty. Lemon started crowing last week and is attempting so far to act like a boy with my EE girl (my silkie Roo doesn’t mind he doesn’t like her that way..I think he doesn’t like her size). So far he hasn’t attacked any of us so he will stay as long as he is nice.

My daughter really wanted a photo with him. She’s too cool to smile .
