That’s good.Inhad two black sexlinks once but they passed away.
I have a girl getting ready to lay... She's caught everything from pastuerella I may have spelled it wrong to avian pox and has healed within days. She had the black scabs on her face and they just healed. My other girl had avian pox too. But way more severe and ended up passing. Does my Rhode island possibly have genes that make her a little more resistant??? She powered through those illnesses .. and would it pass down to her chicks??

Maybe,or when you got her she was already having issues, did they look like they lived healthy conditions when you were there?

Their previous conditions were very poor... So it's no surprise but she caught 2 illnesses back to back and recovered.... While she in the same cage as the sick one... So she wouldn't be lonely

I would give meds and when their entirely all healer clean up and offer vitamins from here on it.

Yeah I start giving her vitamins but I'm wondering if she's worth breeding just for myself.... So I don't have to get any more chicks from the nasty place. Especially if she seems to have disease resistance

I'd think about it for a while before breeding, she may have good resistance, but she could also be a carrier of something. Pros and cons, I guess. A lot depends on the roo also, of course.

Depends on both counterpartners.I would breed your young girls that you have right now when they start laying
