the stripes seem reversed of duckwing, he also seems shaped different in the body and rear and much smaller, maybe he is just a little premature but the coloring is wierd as compared to the other 18 chicks. Guess we will have to wait and see. May be my imagination is playing with me!

Well here is what might possibly be the reason I got this one oddball... because Ideal developed the silver-laced OEGB's I have, and they are like sebright except roos don't have henfeathers. I am assuming they developed these from sebright originally, and I may have an oddball sebright in the mix instead of what should be a pure silver-laced or silver laced x silver duckwing. The mixed duckwing and laced are coming spangled or double laced. Kippen's chicken calculator verifies thats how it's supposed to be. This is funny... I either got a wierd hybrid or a sebright when I have no sebrights! lol

thanks! I think it's the cutest one of them all! Have to keep this one because out of 21 chicks he is the only one like it. Poor little ugly duckling haha

Looks very much like my silver sebright chick. I wanted to name him Mud Puddle but my wife and children felt sorry for him so they named him Monster. I guess while I was trying to catch him to put him in the brooder I said something like "comere you little monster"

I just got another one from the 2 eggs I let my kids hatch. They definitely seem to be sebrights, Ideal won't tell me how they were developed so I am guessing. Wierd that I got only 2 out of my 23 so far, all OEGBs. I only have OEGB roos! Also got one wierd white one that is spangled?? Something funny is going on, they are adorable though so I don't care!
