Sorry i meant it looked more like an Icelandic as it looks alot like my rooster. Their are what looks to be shiny pointy feathers its hard to see as its in the shadows. Sorry for any confusionIt's from a hatchery. Not an Icelandic and I see no indication of being a cockerel.

Thanks for that picture i had a hen i thought could be a crevecoeur mix but could find no pictures of them.Maybe. She looks a lot like my crevecoeur mix pullet:![]()
I have a few of them, I had thought they were Jersey Giants at first. Then the top notch started getting bigger, standing more straight up. They are all black, black steel legs and feet. I will try to get better pics this weekend. My grand daughter is the chicken whisperer, she can catch and hold them for better pics. lolNo, it is more likely to be an Icelandic. ( i can't believe i'm disagreeing with an expert!)Individual pics of the birds in question would be most helpful..
1. Partridge Cochin pullet,
2. Egger of some sort, looks like a cockerel. Better pics needed.
3. SS pullet
4. Olive Egger pullet
5. Front and center is poorly laced SLW. Looks like a cockerel. Better pics required.
6. Buff Brahma. Looks like a pullet, need better pics.
7. SS pullet
8. SS pullet
If you zoom in she does it's just hard to see with the lighting.( i can't believe i'm disagreeing with an expert!)
