This was a splash Ameracauna about a week old. She appeared to be healthy and eating last night. I just found her this morning dead. Her lower rear abdomen is very distended and when I pressed on it, a thick yellow stinky fluid came out of an area a half inch below her vent.
Her vent itself is clean and dry.
They are all on turkey starter (because of the two poults), and yesterday I gave them a treat of goats milk soaked turkey starter. It is fresh goats milk that had clabbered over night.
