Any ideas for a fun investment?

I like the mealworm idea. It seems that I have abundance here on the farm around the grain bins.

Supposedly, Red Worms are in high demand for composting reasons. Farmers markets will buy the worms off you. Does anyone know anything about this?

I have not seen his worm farm personally. I have only seen him at the Farmer's Market. He also advertises on Craigslist. Why don't you do a Google search on raising red wigglers, if you haven't already. Maybe you could start with one project (such as worms) then expand to bees or what-not when you master the first project?
