and the ones I think are SLW's appear to have slate legs to me?

Kwinnypoo.. i double checked chicks 3 and 6 when I got home and they have greyish legs....are those the ones you thought were possibly SLW ?

Yes, 3 and 6 may be the SLW, or the SP Hamburg... from what someone else said... Which is more likely? I'm not sure... I've googled pics of chicks of these two breeds, and honestly the SP Hamburg look more dark in color like these chicks do, but the way they are feathering makes me think SLW. I suppose if you google and find something definitive, let me know!

Also, the red ones, I'm thinking, are Rhode Island Reds.... I have two 10 week old chicks that are all red that are RSL, Red Sex Links... I originally thought they might be RIR's, but RIR's have lines of color down the back, so that may very well make these red birds RIR's...

They can also be red Leghorns, or some other reddy birds... ><
