Any ideas on breed? 4-5 mo old hen

I paid ALOT for hatching eggs, a marans special, thru a very well known website, and the eggs came from another BIG well known farm. Not naming names, yet. ANYWAY.... after they were a few weeks old, I was perplexed on all the different colored legs I had in this bunch. Sent an e-mail to Bev Davis, since her name was listed on the site, stating they were hers and Wade Jean bloodlines. Long story short, she said I should ask for my money back. I e-mailed said website, and told them of the situation, and they have never answered me. It's been about 6 months. Only goes to show everyone there is a lot of hanky-panky going on out there!! Maybe thru my new friends here at BYC, I may be able to obtain a bit better stock for my marans flock.
And I want to stick with the golden cuckoo, with bad leg color...

<----is with Stoopid. (Sorry but someone had to say it lol) I think I even had that t-shirt 30 yrs ago. Anyway, I do agree with you. If she starts laying real dark brown eggs would that be an indication of Marans? Or the Creol?
