Any Idea's On Colour?

Hi Everyone

I would be appreciative if you all could offer your thoughts on what colour this pekin hen is please. I have no idea of her parentage but am trying to put together a possible genetic makeup for her.

I think wheaten. But I could be wrong.

Lovely girl. I was thinking red or wheaten, too. Possibly golden? But I don't really think so.

Wheaten, just not quite fully correct coloring... common if different colors have been bred together...

Thank you everyone for the ideas. When I purchased her she came with two Gold Partridge ladies and two Mille Fleur (Brown Mottled?) girls - so yes I'd say she has a barn yard parentage

So a wheaten hen would be considered eWh base? And is it possible she has a pattern gene in there? I can see some feathers on her hackle and tail that are trying to show some black marking.

Yes, and yes... depending on what she has in her background, she could be carrying other patterns... black in hackles happens in wheaten, I believe it is a fault, but could be wrong... black markings in the tail and flight feathers is common wheaten trait...
