Any ideas to have brooder outdoors for chicks?

We have our chicks (first set) brooding in their coop. I started putting them out into the run 2 days ago and they are LOVING life. In the mornings, they are already waiting at the door for me to let them outside and they have been staying out in the run all day. They are feathering out really well and shaking their tail feathers. I absolutely recommend having them raised outside if at all possible. It's most like "normal" chickens do with a mama hen. They are used to their space, their bodies are getting used to the stuff in the ground and air, and they aren't in the house in a little box.

If this isn't your first set, you can still integrate them into your flock. I've seen some great ideas and plans on how to do it.

Do u always have to keep chicks indoors or can you design a brooder box that works outdoors? My husband is frustrated with the smell of chicks coming through our house from closed off room I have them in our lower level
I just received my very 1st flock of 17 chicks this morning and have them in their coop in a brooder box.

Might want to build a rack for that heating pad.

Oh, and...... Welcome to BYC! @j1lly99
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Added location. Thanks. It's already 95 during the day and my chicks aren't going near the heating pad at night.
