Upon returning home from a 10 day excursion to a horse camp earlier this month, I discovered a random new Roo in one of my pens. None of the chicks in that pen could possibly have grown up *that* fast, and my farm sitter told me that she did not bring me any birds while I was gone. My best guess is that someone dumped him at my place, and, either she absently tossed him in a pen, or he somehow managed to get into the pen through a breech in my roof netting which I have since fixed. Problem is... I have NO CLUE what he is.
Anyone have any guesses?
I think he's lovely, and I've named him Random, but it would be nice if I could figure out what he is/might be? His rose comb is quite nice, but the barring has me stumped.
