Hi! New to this forum but I’ve been learning from you all for quite a while, following your threads. I’m hoping you can help! I was pretty sure this was a hen until recently it’s plumage changed and - he started to crow! Ha! So! I need some help - any idea what breed he is? I got him with a couple of Cochins and Americanas. He is large like the Americana but has feathers on his feet.

I'm not seeing Marans. Body shape is wrong for that breed and shank feathering is more cochin style with those winged bits on the feet. I'm with @summerb123 that he is probably a cochin mix.

I agree with Cochin mix, not Maran. Though I can see why some might think so Maran look different than that. Cute roo!
