So I know this isn't a squirrel or rabbit. But the prints are strange. Fresh snow over it didnt help. Hand for size comparison.

at a lost.. Maybe a smaller critter with a limp? Skunk or cat maybe? they're quite big too. Where are you located?

in the first pic i want to say canine but it the second pic I see a rabbit print.. Maybe a larger pet rabbit got loose?

Well, the lil tracks book I have points to either red squirrel or Fisher (which we don't have around here).
I know cats will step in their own tracks in the snow a lot of times. I'm going with bobcat.

No!! Not the chickies! Time to lock up the chickens and loose the hounds.

Based on elongation of the track in the topmost picture, I'll go with coyote. Or canine of some sort.

It may be a medium size dog as well, or even a bobcat, because the tracks are not clear.
But canine tracks are certainly elongated like the top pic.
