Any jersey giant rooster owners? My ‘pullet’ just crowed

Well I was suspicious seeing as my jersey giant was so much bigger than the others the same age and had a confirmation today with a weird squeal that was intended to be a crow. it’s now confirmed one of my ladies is not a lady. Yet super friendly as most jersey giants.

I’ll have to get more updated pictures. My daughter gave me her cold so I’m moving slow today. Got these very first of May so about 12 weeks. Seemed early for a crow as my last one Took like six months to let out his first one. But I guess like anything else they are mature at different rates. He’s so friendly though.

Wow. Had a chicken emergency with a pullet and forgot about this thread

Anyway in the meantime I have a second pullet crow and yup 1 lavender orphington is a roo

One or both my have to go
I have a barred rock roo ‘sgt pepper’ who may not be fond Of the situation. They are separated by hardware cloth right now. He gives them suspicious looks but don’t know if he’s totally getting the concept. The reason I got a pullets ( or I thought) if we had a really bad year with predators the newer place. So he lost a lot of his ladies and I was trying to award him with more but… yeah
