Any Kind Of Hatching Eggs...Desperately Needed

I feel terrible.

I got some eggs and hatched some babies for my neighbor, as once we started keeping hens, they were interested in doing the same. I gave them a flock of 6, helped them build a coop and fence with scrap wood, and last night, a stray dog broke it down and killed all 6 chickens along with 2 of their ducks.

I feel so bad for them and we live in a pretty low income area, so going out and buying new hens really isn't an option for this family. I also feel a little responsible as I helped them build the fence that the dog tore right through.

I'd very much like to purchase some eggs and hatch them out a new flock.

I don't care what breed they are, or even if they're mixed breeds...I would just like to get some eggs in the incubator so that they can have a new flock of birds. My only request is that they be full sized chickens, no bantams please.

Please respond if you can help me out.

I can pay up to 35$ [including shipping costs]

I'd very much like to get a dozen or more eggs.

THANK YOU!!!!

I could send you some fertile eggs. Laying is slow right now so it may take a day or two to gather that amount. I have a mix of rhode island reds, barred rocks and americaunas. The rooster is a mix so they all will be mixed but he sure is beautiful. If you are interested just let me know.

I've never shipped eggs before, but I can try to send you some. I have LF salmon faverolles that are laying right now. In a week or so I will also have French Marans laying again (they're raising chicks right now!).

It would take me a few days to round up enough eggs. PM me if you're interested....

I've shipped eggs...I just sent some for some ppl on ebay...right now I have buff orpingtons, RIRs, dark brahmas, barred rocks, black stars and red star hens running together with 4 buff orpington roos and 1 mixed (he's RIR & barred rock), so they will be mixed, all large fowl, we have hatched out these mixes and they are nice especially the mixed roo with the brahmas have been coming out very pretty black or black & white with feathered legs! The temp dropped here for last week and they slacked off on the laying but they should pick back up this week as the weather is warming (we just had a cool front come in, didn't last long tho) :( Only thing is, my muscovies are laying in the same area so you might get one or two of those 'by accident' thrown in the mix! lol

If you're interested just let me know.

Thank you all for your generosity! I really appreciate all of the offers and kind words!

I think I've got enough eggs to rebuild their flock with an array of wonderfully different chickens!

Thanks again!!

A big, huge THANK YOU again to everyone who helped me out! My incubators are full and I am just so grateful that there are SO MANY wonderful people on this forum.

I've got no doubt that we will have rebuilt my neighbors flock and have a batch of laying hens for them by spring!
