Any Knitters or Spinners here?

I knit and crochet and about a month ago I made the leap to spinning. LOVE it!!! My first 350 yds (+ or -) of spindle spun yarn are hanging to dry right now. I don't know how I'll ever find time to knit or crochet again

Yay! Knitters. I love to knit. I am knitting a pair of socks for my sweeheart right now. I started them in January! LOL im halfway done with the second one. My mom taught me how to knit when I was 7 but i didnt get into it til i was 23. Here is a link to some stuff i've made. I mostly like making socks, hats and scarves. My mom also just started spinning a couple years ago and is in the process of building her own spinning wheel.

I love to knit and crochet. I sew the most, though... clothing is my favorite, but making quilts is easier (well... the square stuff, I haven't yet mastered intricate detailing).

Yes, she's on a fixed income and hasn't come across one she can afford to buy so being the "impressive" person she is, she just found some instructions on how to make one. She's WAY more mechanically inclined than I ever dreamed of being. She designed and built her own house with the help of me and my gpa. I mean she did plumbing, carpentry roofing, installing windows, the whole nine. This spinning wheel should be a breeze for her.

I love knitting! Have several projects going. Probably the biggest right now is the Irish chain afghan I have been knitting for my son. Hopefully will have it finished before the cold weather comes back to Texas. My favorite thing to knit though is dishclothes.
