But most people see NPIP and think safe eggs, whether they're for eating or hatching. I agree most people don't understand what the NPIP program is about. I'm the process of becoming a tester also.

November 2008 was our last test and we have doubled in size since 2007, took them half the day to test.....

DH had to take the day off work.

Maybe AI....I read somewhere that they test for that every 90 days. I don't know tho.....we'll have to wait for her to answer.....maybe she went shopping today!

Throat swabs are for testing for Avian Influenza.​

Well Kevin came to test my birds!! lol I wouldn't want your job, I think I had the bad end of the deal!

I held the birds and became bloody and poo covered!!

I was going to post it was for Avian Influenza!!!

Lord help me I shopped for a 4th incubator!!!
