I haven't decided if I'm going to Yoder next friday or not. Haven't been for a couple of months so I might.
If you're thinking of buying, be sure and bring cages or crates because most people don't sell the cage along with the birds. I usually try and put mine in cardboad boxes with wire on top so they don't have to be transfered from one cage to another. I've seen more than one chase for a loose chicken over the years!! It's like any other auction...the cages are lined up and the auctionner (SP?) goes down the line selling them.
There's usually a wide assortment of different kinds of chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, lot of rabbits, etc. I've even seen parakeets, kitten and puppies there.
It's rather interesting.
