We are in Barrington, still with lots of snow!! We have 20 brown egg layers, all different kinds, 1 rooster, 4 cayuga ducks with 9 eggs in the bator, geese to come soon along with some meat birds!

Effingham or "F'n ham" here, new to raising chickens. Got my 11 ladies from Ideal back in October all made it thru the winter.
I just started letting them out of the coop in the last week, still lots of snow so they havent strayed far from the coop.

no, that' my problem. I bid on some eggs on ebay for a friend of mine and her broody got killed on the nest. I don't have an incubator or a broody hen right now either, and don't want to bother with just four eggs shipped. I am happy to pay for what I bought, but I don't want to bother trying to somehow hatch them.
