Any Oct 6 hatches? (14 CHICKS TOTAL!!! 3 days early! PICS!!!!!)

I found the info in the sticky that the chicks can go for 3 days without food and water. So it looks like I should have left my single hatchling in the incubator. Hopefully I didn't do any damage to the unhatched eggs. None of them have pipped yet. (At least as far as I can tell.) I thought one had a small hole, but upon closer inspection I realized it was a smear of something on the egg.

Still waiting....

If it was only open quick enough to grab the chick, I can't imagine you would do any damage.

3 days seems like a long time, but others would know better I guess.

Just got 9 Welsummers out of the bator and at least one more has pipped. YAY!!!

I opened my incubator at least 3 times, maybe more. It didn't seem to affect my hatch. I will post pictures this afternoon of everyone fluffy and dried

Nothing here yet

Out of the 18 eggs I put in the bator 10 days ago, 15 were shipped, 8 of which have been moved to the far side after candling because they don't appear to be developing. I'm hoping my flashlight just isn't very good. lol One had blood rings and went in the garbage, the other 9 appeared to be developing fine, but again, my flashlight isn't very good. I gotta find my maglight by Friday!
