The three that I have now in the house my dad says I have to get rid of also. I took the light off of them today. Cutie Pie is making such a fuss!

The silkie you gave me is a roo as I suspected. He is getting a very large comb and wattles. I love him foot feathering though... I was hoping I could keep him for breeding (I want to try to make chocolate silkies) You have another one this color at your house right?That would be really cool if yours was a pullet that way we could breed them together.

If your dad doesn't want you to keep them, why don't I take them and raise the ones you want to keep til they are old enough to put outside with your others?

You're dad won't care as long as they aren't in the house right?

I have two partridge EE/silkie mixes, a white EE/silkie mix, and it looks like two pure silkies. (a black x partridge, and a black) The pure black has five toes on one side and four on the other.

I don't see why my dad would have a problem with it. He just doesn't want them in the house.

I am still crossing my fingers for a white EE lol.

We can do that and then when they are old enough to be outside you can come over and snag back whichever ones you want for breeding or whatever

Hopefully you will get your whie EE. Mom knows which of our EE lays which egg, so I think she tried to pick the "white chick" eggs.

Yay for chickies!!! My temp shot up to 103.5 last night, so I think my little chickies must be moving around! No pips yet, but I have a feeling they'll be hatching before Monday!
