Hello,
I live near Sacramento. First time raising chickens. Thought we would try it in our residential back yard. Just got the coop finished. Such nice weather, we've been taking the little ones out to enjoy the outdoors. I think they may be city chickens already. They seem to like the concrete of the patio to the grass.

I am in Anza, CA and my barn is about 1/2 way up!! Of course, now there is snow and rain, so it'll get put off again.....

As SOON as I have a coyote proof coop, I will be looking for bantams, buff orphingtons, and ducks!
